Michael McCafferty - USA Biplane Tour

Day Twenty Seven
Waiting

Hunger forces me outside into the weather.

Finished the book. Good stuff. Now I need another. With this kind of weather, I need a library.

Saw a "sucker hole" of sunshine today. It lasted for about twenty minutes.

Waiting is one of those things that God makes us do when we are having Too Much Fun. And when your life is really going great, He makes you wait in bad weather.

Maybe that's why man invented airplanes with a roof over your head, so he wouldn't have to wait for the weather to clear. Unfortunately, in the process, he screwed up flying forever by eliminating the open-cockpit.

So I guess I'm doing the right thing after all. I'll wait.

And then I'll fly in an open-cockpit biplane and have more damn fun than any man has a right to have.

I would like to share with you a great personal event which occurred today, however these emails are intended for "General Audiences", and it would be inappropriate of me to go into details herein. Maybe later, in the book.

;-)
